6.The Pursuit of Happiness

The Pursuit of Happiness is a 2006 American biographical film about the on and off-homeless salesman-turned-stockbroker Chris Gardner.

Gardner and his son
Chris Gardner is a bright and talented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, Gardner finds himself and his five-year-old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. When Gardner lands an internship at a prestigious stock brokerage firm, he and his son endure many hardships, including living in shelters, in pursuit of his dream of a better life for the two of them. Finally he succeeded.
I was fortunate to see this movie and really enjoyed it. I like these words said by Chris Gardner:
You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it.If you want something, go get it. Period.
There is an I in "happiness",There is no Y in "happiness",It's an I
The very short stage of my life is called happiness
This film makes me think about happiness. Everyone wants to be happy. But what is happiness? Happiness is what we feel in life. Compared to people in wars, we're happy because we're living, Compared to people who are starving, we're happy because we have enough food. Compared to people in prison, we're happy because we have enough freedom to do things we want. Compared to people who are very old, we're happy because we have time to pursue our dreams. Happiness is the feeling that we love this world, and the world loves us.
